Do you consider Anthony Davis the best big man in the game?

I do, but I'm bigger on defense and mobility than most. I think Griffin, Bosh, Love, and maybe Aldridge have a case as well.

I would take Bosh off that list, but the other 3 have a case. Davis has such a polished game so early in his career. I knew he would be a stud defensively, but I did not think he'd be putting up the offensive numbers he has been. The dude is a beast and might have the brightest future of anyone in the NBA right now.

I would never sleep on Bosh, he would be a perfect big for Carmelo.

Bosh is a solid/sometimes great player, no doubt. His name just doesn't come to mind when I think of the best big man in the game, doe.

He does have a tendency to get banged up. Hopefully, he can suit up next game after this little dislocated finger issue.

I'm assuming he'll play in the Bulls game. I think him missing the Wolves game was just precautionary. I'm sure he could've played.

I don't think he is quite there yet, but the progress so far/potential is to be as you say.

I think he impacts the game more on the defensive side of the ball then any big right now, with his combination of foot speed, length, and jumping ability he has the opportunity to be down right amazing on that side of the ball. Add in his versatility on offense and ability to handle and pass the ball well, I cant put anyone above him. Admittedly he is my favorite player right now so that may be skewing my judgement but Im sticking to my guns

Roy Hibbert.

Hibbert is great, but he does not impact nearly as much area as davis does. Hibbert is the best paint protector, no doubt, but he doesnt have the footspeed to keep up with guards on switches, nor does he have the combination of speed and length to close down in help defense like Davis does
