I was making dinner and she was using my phone and there's this running game where you have to collect coins. She pressed a few buttons and purchased $106 of "dynamite."
LAST time she uses my phone. And beware of this shyt. I've read many stories about this from other people.
Lesson F'ing learned.
I'll call and try to get this sorted out, but I doubt there's anything I can do.

How old is your kid? My 3 year old knows not to mess around with my phone. Isn’t your daughter like 4 or 5?

Can't you call your CC company and cancel unwanted purchases?

Yeah she definitely seems too old to make a mistake like that. That's the kind of thing a toddler or baby would do.

I require the password to be entered for any Apple purchases....every time.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

No offense Clevey, but this strikes me as exactly the type of thing that gives you hell. Your combination of laziness and your non-confrontational nature (IRL... not on here) makes doing things like “sorting it out with Google Play” a nightmare for you. Just have your wife-mom do it for you.
Re: My kid just bought $106 dollars of phone game upgrades. WTF?!!?!?!?!?!
There's nothing slimeballish about it. You made the purchase fair and square. Not their fault your kid doesn't know the difference between starting a new game and buying a bunch of shit you don't need.CleveTown™ wrote:they said we gotta sort it out with Google (google play). those slimeballs are greedy AF. His only job in life is to babysit while his wife-mom makes the real money.

Why do you even care about 106 dollars if you are banking a half million a year (or whatever the latest version of that claim is)?

Seems like an easy fix.
Or, keep the 5 year old away from smartphone video games.
