Why is everyone here such a food snob?

Most of you claim that you "never" eat fast food, and those of you that do crap on certain places. Applebee's and Denny's seem universally hated, and apparently buffets are also shit.


So do most of you only cook gourmet food at home? And the few times you do go out, it's only to eat at restaurants that serve authentic, top notch cuisine, right?

I prefer making my food at home too, mainly because it allows me to spend time with my fam while we cook it up. Plus, like you said it's cheaper, and honestly I can booze it up without worrying about having to get back home lol

But when we do go out to eat, we'll hit up wherever. Denny's, IHOP, Carrow's, Coco's, Marie Calendar's, whatever.... just as long as the wait isn't super long. My kid's are picky as hell, so something like going for sushi is reserved just for dinner dates.

To be fair, I got the #2 at White Castle last night... and opted for jalapeno cheese. Yeah... the spicy cheese was totally worth that extra penny per burger. Maybe I am pretentious after all...
