This has me even more confused about your original statement.

why? because i'm saying it looks classy to pay with credit when youre rich because it contradicts me saying poor people pretend to be rich and try looking classy by going in debt to creditors?

because it doesn't.. and all i'm saying is everyone lives beyond their income trying to one up all their friends or impress females. its the reason why the banks all went under in 2008
What does ANY of that have to do with you not using credit cards because you aren't poor?

because if i was poor i would have to use credit to get the things i want

but i have the ability to pay for everything with the money i have. so why the fuck would i waste time with credit

i'm not a rich venture capitalist dealing with thousands of dollars every day. i only buy one big thing each month or so.

Apparently White Trash doesn't know that putting things on your credit card and then paying it off each month draws no interest and builds credit.

lol

Sure but so can people that can afford to buy things out right? Do you understand how credit cards work?

She wins on having boobs though. That's the only thing I can think of.
Possible explanation could be her having more credit cards than you...

In the long term, the important issue is utilization, also called the balance-to-limit ratio. Your balance-to-limit ratio is the total of your balances divided by the total of the limits on your credit cards. Having more cards can increase your total available limit, reducing your balance-to-limit ratio, which can positively affect credit scores.

However, keeping low balances on just a few credit cards can result in very good credit scores. So, improving credit scores alone is not a good reason to apply for a bunch of new credit cards. And, you should always have a good reason for getting a new credit card.

Meh. I think it's the boobs.

[Note: I don't think either of us have a balance on any cards right now. I have my own reasons for largely paying in cash. But the use/non-use of credit cards = how poor/rich you are is really stupid.]

lol

the richest people in the world use credit when they go anywhere because

a) it looks classier to just sign a piece of paper or have someone else take care of it and go through their accountant

b) most of their money is tied up in investments. their net worth is why theyre given such huge advances on money they don't technically have ( without having to sell all their business's/ventures )

c) most of their take home pay is reinvested with a percentage going to retirement savings and other things they don't touch

if donald trump goes out to a fancy place and get a 10 thousand dollar bill. he doesn't whip out a stack of hundreds like some dumb nog rapper

nor would he be standing at the front desk with his debit card. i doubt he carries anything except an ID and a pen to sign for whatever he wants.

and i never said i was rich. i just said i wasn't poor. i don't mind carrying cash or waiting to use my debit card
That is not why rich people use credit cards

They use it because they spend a lot of money. My capital one card gives me 2% cash back. So if you spend a lot of money the 2% adds up. If a rich person spends a million a year, 2% back is 20k dollars...

I haven't the foggiest idea and couldn't give a shit.

EDIT: I put virtually every expense on credit cards, including little things like coffee. I never carry cash anymore, or virtually never anyway. I have 3 different Canadian credit cards I use that maximize cash rewards for different purchases. I have it arranged that they are paid automatically the day before they are due. I also have one US$ credit card for when I'm in the US, which is usually about 12-16 weeks a year.

I think by next summer here in Canada that weed will be fully legal and sold by either government outlets or designated retailers. Move here and you'll be able to put your weed on Visa.

Dont care about my credit score...I pay everythjng on time...have currently three cards I use minamally and pay every month...car payment..etc...
Never late . On anything. And not buying anythjng anytime soon where my credit matters...and if it did i would still find a way if my cedit was bad...but its not...im lretty sure its great...
Last time I checked was in 2010 and they said it was damn near perfect credit and its only gotten better since then..
Dont get me wrong though...there was a time when it was piss poor...but then I became a man with steady and plenty of money...

That said...I prefer to not purchase anything unless I can pay for in full....debt is for losers

I thought I heard before that being late on utilities can effect your credit score? Not sure if this is true
