I'm 50/50 on picking up a switch.. i have a gamecube emulator with 4 remotes for my laptop and those games look and feel about the same as anything nintendo has out today

I've put in a shameful amount of hours playing video games over the course of my life, and ranked as one of the best in the world at halo 3, gears of war, and CoD black ops.

Nba fucked up on allot of peoples systems. Cant get out of the team logo screen unless you delete all the saved memory. Then your online shit doesnt work..

Gears of War 4 is incredible.
Forza Horizon 3 is incredible.
Titanfall 2 might be the best shooter of all time.
Battlefield 1 is one of the best looking games I've ever seen.

CODIW is the worst game in the series. I bought it for the COD4 remaster and never play the new version. The remaster is as good as I remember that game.

I'm still just as inconsistent as ever. I tried the IW MP... yikes. It's like the developer's pitch was, "Hey have you ever played Titanfall and wondered what that game would be like if the controls were clunkier and there weren't any titans?"

Now the single player isn't terrible (although there is a LOT of walking around your ship listening to people talk. Why did anyone think that was a good idea? We play COD to shoot lots of things. Me standing on the deck trying to decide were to go is super boring. Also, stop thinking I want to pick my load out before each mission. Just let me shoot things already) but I'm not rushing to finish it and I've lost track what the story is even about.

My sister has a modded WiiU and had breath of the wild since yesterday and I played like the first 2-3 hours at her place and even on the Wiiu version it was great and blew me away. I cant wait to play mine on the switch tonight.

its no surprise a comic book nerd cant see the difference between TLOU and a typical zombie game.

Oh... so madness is the only one that can use sweeping generalizations? Last of Us was a great game but it's not because it gave us new gameplay. It's a third person zombie/survival game for hells sake. That genre is one of the most overplayed genres in video gaming just slightly behind FPSs. Hence the comparison to RE4. RE4 even had a little girl you had to protect follow you around. The game was great because the story and the voice acting was one of the best in gaming. It dragged you in and made actually care each and every time you died. You wanted to see how it all played out in the end.

So when Madness says there's nothing new in gaming and it's all rehashes of the same old stuff, it makes me laugh.

Last of Us was a great movie. People like madness mistake cinematic production quality and storytelling as the most vital 'game' qualities. In short, exactly what casual gamers do. And he has dismissed Ocarina of Time in the past, driving home this point even further. His opinion is not relevant in gaming discussion.
