Griff is gonna make one of his super long posts if you don't watch it.

kobe should be a 6 time mvp

lebron should be a 0 time mvp

running away in the leastern conference on bullshit teams with rigged colluded teammates shouldn't win anyone any kind of regular season award

and prime kobe in the west taking his team to basically the exact same record as lebron is also worth allot more than it got credit for

you know the criteria, Dudley.....gotta have the team record, LA didn't
Well Kobe did win in 08.
That was a lifetime achievement MVP thy gave him cause the league knew his time was winding down while LeBron's was soon to break out in a huge way.

CP3 clearly deserved the 08 MVP.

James had a better year, with a better team record and it was accomplished with no all-stars on his team.

from 2003 to 2010 kobe was the best player in the nba

he was injured in 2004 and 2005 which kept him from producing like he should ... but all other years he was legit MVP of the league

6 mvps by my count

sure another team might have been better than the lakers... but that mvp criteria is bullshit

Big Z's last AS game was in 2005

This is how Mo got in

"Twice snubbed, the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard was added to the roster Tuesday by NBA commissioner David Stern as a replacement for injured Toronto Raptors forward Chris Bosh.

Williams wasn't voted in by the fans, nor was he chosen by Eastern Conference head coaches as a reserve. Then he was passed over by Stern in favor of Boston's Ray Allen, who is replacing injured Orlando guard Jameer Nelson on the roster.

The Cavs then took their complaints public, contending they were only team in the top five without more than one All-Star. LeBron James called it a "total smack in the face."

Most remember he was an AS in 09.....but don't realize he was past over twice. If there wasn't a bonus in Mo's contract for making the AS game, he should have told Stern... fuck you

if the first criteria of league mvp is based on the team... then its a team award

sometimes the regular season champion doesn't have a good enough rep ... so they give it to the 2nd or 3rd runner up?

so you're admitting its not a real award
