Remember when I said you have to learn how to "hold the L", TDK?
This is a good example of that.

Re: So wait... Nuggets/T'Wolves get FOUR (4) DAYS OFF between games!?!?!?!
I think you mean three days off (7th, 8th, 9th). The 6th and 10th are game days. The 1996 Bulls had a similar schedule in two different series, also between games two and three in the 2-2-1-1-1 format. https://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/1996-nba-eastern-conference-semifinals-knicks-vs-bul...

Re: I hear this Anthony Edwards kid is a lot like Jordan...
I would defend Malone's 1990 season over Giannis' 2023 season in terms of era-adjusted scoring, yes. The gains in rate definitely aren't worth the differences in (era-adjusted) efficiency. I'd hope the best era-adjusted scoring season from one (scoring-lead) legend was better than probably the fifth...

Re: Artman, do you see the difference between a real elite team and a mediocre one?
What we have learned in this thread, Bush has no loyalty to one team. Lived in Minnesota. Support the Vikings and Twins, and the Stars moved. Lived in Missouri for decades fuck the Missouri teams. Lived in Oklahoma, no pro teams when I lived there. Live in Dallas Texas only support the Dallas Stars...

No moron. Unlike you ive cheered for my team since their very first game ever and enjoyed tge highs and lows and you will never understand.. You can't say the same about any team. You cheer for teams when when they are good. Sad bandwagonning. No credibility or platform to talk anything about fando...

Well-merited (after Embiid fell apart), but it's going to be hollow if they lose this series.

It's not exactly a puzzle.

Nope. 3.1 million locally and many more globally Deflection and triggered personal attack noted Ah, you are back into counting the non-Orlando parts of Florida as Orlando again, for this specific discussion. I didn't realize you had switched that back up again. Beyond that though, pretending you ca...

So basically, there can only be an absolute maximum of about 316K (population of Orlando) legit Orlando Magic fans in a given year?elartman1973 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 5:57 pm
Nope, pure bandwagon.
I actually live in the city whose team I root for. While you've likely never stopped foot in yours.

Or (the real explanation), my favorite teams are winners because I'm a winner and pretty cool person, and my sports teams winning makes me even more of a winner and cool guy by association.

It irks me how eager he is to draw attention to himself when he stinks at his craft and let a bunch of people down (even on things he could completely control).

Re: Rudy Gobert wins his 4th DPOY award
Madness posted a video of people afraid to take what seems like open layups when Wemby is near. I do not think an advanced defensive metric can track things like that. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, Bush. That type of interaction should eventually roll up into productive +/- data, since the...

Re: Havlicek steals it
I believe Russell hit a guide wire that was holding up the basket on the previous play, leading to what was at the time an automatic turnover. The funny thing is that the opposing coach and maybe even ref (IIRC) wanted to change the rule about an automatic turnover if it hit the wire before the game...

Oh, you mean exactly how the magic played the cavs the 3 games they won? Magic would have been the far better matchup. And magic beat the cavs without having to play great as well Keep bandwagoning faggot I've been a Celtics fan since Larry Bird's end-of-career, and a Wolves/Thunder fan since early...

TDK literally using Malone's most efficient year he ever had to "prove a point".....while picking Giannis' 6th most efficient year to compare it to. That's his "EXACT", "FACTUAL" data. I started the comparison. But the only point was to illustrate how quantity of...

Re: Isiah Thomas STILL has his foot on Jordone’s neck
And he 100 percent would have done the same thing to Larry Bird, if he had the leverage. Jordan resented going 1-3 against his chief rival in the playoffs, and deep down hated Bird for humiliating him 0-2 (0-6 in games) earlier in his career. 1-5 in the playoffs against his main playoff rivals. &quo...
