Re: Would you be a NBA player in the 1940s?

Oh... you caught me. Totally different games back then between the college and pro leagues. Here's a game from January, 1950. Is that close enough? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_D6eLXIVDRg The four highest volume shooters (as a proxy for minutes, which weren’t tracked) on that Knicks team were 6...

Re: Would you be a NBA player in the 1940s?

Probably not, and given they clearly state these are college games in the video, there’s not much basis to even judge from this clip. Oh... you caught me. Re: Would this count as a hole in one?

Interesting.... if you properly mark the ball, fix the cup, and place the ball, it probably is in or falls in the hole without a stroke. I’m not sure how it’s rules but that seems like you’d complete the hole with only 1 stroke....

Not well... was running a lot and keeping it up but hate running, especially on the street. Girlfriend is also spending a lot of time here and is filling her time without work with lots of baking. Not a good combo.

California is the most essential and productive state in the US. Glad, but not surprised, to see they are weathering this well.

Re: Focusing on 1 sport

Absolutely it’s going to create better athletes, although the bigger change will be more depth... the top of the top would always rise up, but the 150th best player in the NBA in 2040 will probably be significantly better than the 30th best player in the NBA from 1980.... or something.
