Doesn't it say something when a player "retires" and two guys turn out to be allstars?

Not really because those 2 players had comparable seasons in years they didn't make the AS team.

Not sure... I'd have to look it up. I know some of those great 80's teams had 3-4 all-stars quite often, but in the past 25 years I dunno.

Re: The quality of the board has gone way down.

It would appear that TDK's presence on this board has ruffled the skirts of some posters.

Re: The quality of the board has gone way down.

You are full of shit just like the rest of the lapdoggies. You idiots have brought the quality of this board way down. Hoopla got rid of the trash, and, now the cancer is back. No matter how many times you and the rest of the lapdoggies try to prop up your old, drunken master, everyome sees him for...

Heat with 3 All Stars 4 straight years...

Begs the question: How many other teams can say the same in the last 25 years?

CONGRATS to JOAKIM...!!

He should have been a starter (what do the fans know, right?), but at least the coaches got it right...!

Congrats to Noah, the most complete / best all-around Center in the NBA...!!

Rate my new Avatar on a scale of 1 (go make me a sammich) to 10 (a perfect representation of TDK's uncanny ability to destroy his adversaries).

Even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in awhile. http://www.elfpack.com/stuff/envy.gif?jpg=y What does that gif even mean? It means your "blind squirrel" comment stems from the fact that you are jealous / envious of TDK because you lack the skills to make such an impressive prediction.

Re: Can Noah win MVP?

get a clue--he has to bring more than just great value to his team and his team has to be a winner for him to garner awards like that he won't win DPOY and he probably won't make 2nd team all NBA all star is possible but there are better centers in the east than Noah You think he is better than Hib...

Re: Can Noah win MVP?

He's Top 5 right now, IMO... as of today I'd go:

1) Durant
2) George
3) Aldridge
4) Griffin
5) Noah

(If the Bulls end up with the 3rd seed then Noah moves up.)

Re: Bulls win, Heat humiliated

Congrats on getting over .500 in the EC. That's quite the accomplishment. With all the injuries (And our best player out for the year) and trades (trading our 2nd best player) and continuing to win (now beating the team who went to the finals last year), I would say that is mighty impressive. Can't...

I don't think it was that he "Didn't trust" his jumper when he was young. It was more that when you could Drive like he could, why would you settle for the jumper? He could past Anyone/Everyone, even while being Hacked by the Bad Boys! Back then, he was rightly named "Air Jordan"...

Re: Bulls fans - How did MJ change his offensive game each y

I can't give a year-by-year account (it was a looong time ago) but if memory serves, Jordan relied heavily on his lightning speed / quickness / explosiveness by driving relentlessly to the basket his first 3-4 years... and he also took a fair amount of mid range shots. Toward the end of the 80's he...
